INVITATION FOR TECHNICAL BID FOR 2023 APPROVED CAPITAL PROJECTS
In compliance with the requirements of the Kaduna State Public Procurement Law 2016, the Zaria Local Government Council is desirous to undertake the execution of capital projects under the 2023 Approved Budget. The Local Government Council invites reputable, Interested and competent companies to submit Technical Bid for the following projects;

PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Interested reputable contractors should submit but not limited to the following:
a. Certificate of registration/incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
b. Evidence of current registration with the Kaduna State Public Procurement Authority (KADPPA).
c. Company Audited Account for three years (2020, 2021 & 2022)
d. Evidence of current tax clearance certificates for three years (2020, 2021 & 2022).
e. Evidence of payment of registration with Zaria Local Government Public Procurement Committee.
f. Evidence of current registration of Business premises with Kaduna State Ministry of Business Innovation and Technology.
g. Technical experience and qualifications of key personnel with evidence of registration with appropriate professional bodies.
h. Evidence of similar verifiable projects successfully executed/completed/on-going with attached copies of award letter and completion certificate.
i. Equipment and Technology capacity with evidence of ownership/lease agreement.
j. Evidence of financial capability and Banking support.
k. Evidence of VAT registration and Remittance
l. Evidence of compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF)
m. Evidence of compliance with PENCOM.
n. Evidence of power of attorney of the signatories to the Bid.
o. Any other relevant information/document that adds value to the bid.
The documents shall be arranged in the order above.
SUBMISSION OF BID DOCUMENTS
a. Completed Technical bids are to be submitted in hard copy.
b. The technical bids must be inserted in sealed envelope clearly marked “Technical Bid”
c. All envelopes must bear the name and contact number of the Bidder at the rear sides while the “project description” and “Lot No” clearly marked at the top left hand corner of the envelopes and addressed to:

Kofar Fada, PMB 1038,
Zaria City, Kaduna State.
d. The bids proposal shall be placed in a large out envelope which shall be dropped into the bid box.
e. Failure to comply with this requirement shall lead to disqualification.
f. The submission shall be not later 5th October, 2023.
OPENING OF BIDS
The technical bids documents received shall be opened at 1:00pm immediately after the close of receipt of bids, on the 5th October, 2023, in the presence of all bidders and or their representatives, relevant professional bodies and NGOs are invited to witness the opening exercise accordingly at

GENERAL NOTICE
a. This invitation shall not be construed as contract award or any commitment on the part of the local Government or its departments, nor shall it entitle any company/firm to make any indemnity by virtue of such company/firm having responded to this invitation.
b. Response to this invitation does not oblige the Zaria Local Government or its Department to consider responding company/firm’s submission
c. Late submission will be rejected.
d. Submission of proposals through e-mail or fax will not be accepted.
e. All submission must be made in English Language.
