Description of the Assignment: Project consultant to manage the Lean Innovation Facility
Period of assignment/services: 6 Months The Project Manager will be entrusted with a pivotal role in the YAI Programme. Their responsibilities will encompass: 1. Lead the development and execution of the project plan, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives. 2. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. 3. Provide regular reports detailing project status, challenges faced, and recommendations. 4. Oversee the project budget, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of resources. 5. Analyze project data to identify trends, potential challenges, and areas of opportunity. 6. Offer recommendations for project adjustments based on performance insights. 7. Ensure compliance with UNDP guidelines and procedures during all project activities. 8. Work closely with team members to align project activities with project milestones. 9. Organize engagement events, workshops, and meetings to foster positive relationships with stakeholders. 10. Train and mentor project team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute effectively. 11. Monthly Progress Reports, detailed reports highlighting the project’s progress, challenges faced, and mitigation strategies implemented. Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than the deadline stated on QUANTUM. Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry.
