STATE UNIVERSAL BASIC EDUCATION BOARD, SOKOTO
INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION
This invitation for pre-qualification for tenders follows the release of Matching Grant for 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Quarters 2023 Allocation of the UBE Intervention Fund for the development of Public Schools (Pre-Primary, Primary Schools and Junior Secondary Schools) for Infrastructures.
In compliance with the policy of due process of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the State Universal Basic Education Board, Sokoto wishes to Pre-Qualified Contractors who wishes to tender for the following projects.
CATEGORY “A” 2023
· Construction of 4 Blocks of 8 Classrooms, Office, Children Rest Rooms, Toilet and Verandah for Pre-Primary School
· Construction of 25 Blocks of 75 Classrooms, Office, Store and Verandah for Primary Schools and 15 Blocks of 45 Classrooms Junior Secondary Schools.
· Construction of 52 Blocks of 208 Compartment VIP Toilet
· Construction of 8 Nos. Wall Fence
· Drilling and reticulation of 12 Nos. of Productive Borehole
· Renovation of 71 blocks of 211 Classrooms, Library, Admin Block, Toilets for Primary Schools and Junior Secondary Schools.
· Procurement and Distribution 200 Sets of ECCDE plastic furniture
· Procurement and Distribution 11,318 Nos.of Double Seater Iron and Wooden, 78 Head Teacher/Principal and 330 Nos. Tables and Chairs for Primary and Junior Secondary Schools Across the state.
PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
In view of the above, the Board invites interested and qualified contractors to submit the following documents for the purpose of pre-qualification.
(i) Valid Certificate of Incorporation.
(ii) Current Tax Clearance for the past Three (3) Years.
(iii) Evidence of Registration with State Universal Basic Education Board, Sokoto for 3 years.
(iv) Evidence of past performance of the company with similar Project/Supply/Training
(v) Contact address and Phone Number
(vi) Registration with ITF
(vii) Registration with BPP
(a) Prospective Contractors and Suppliers should submit their sealed documents addressed to the Director Planning, Research, Statistics and Development of State Universal Basic Education Board, Sokoto not later than 6 Weeks from the date of this publication (22, February 2024)
(b) Tender Bidding documents will only be issued to shortlisted pre-qualified applicants at the end of prequalification period on payment of a non-refundable tender fee N30,000:00 only.
(c) The Board reserves the right to reject any or all pre-qualification submission and or discontinue potential tender to make any claims whatsoever and seek an indemnity from the Board an account of responding to this advert. The Board shall not go into any correspondence with non-pre-qualified contractors in any form.
