KWARA STATE MINISTRY OF BUSINESS, INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY

RE-INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE REHABILITATION AND REMODELING OF KWARA HOTELS LIMITED

(1.0)  INTRODUCTION

The Kwara State Government through the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Technology is at the verge to proffer and provide proactive solutions to the challenges facing the Kwara Hotels and to bring back the glory of the famous Hotels and meet up with international standard. To this end, the Ministry is hereby inviting interested, reputable and highly experienced companies to submit expression of interest for the rehabilitation and remodeling of Kwara Hotels Limited.

(2)  SCOPE OF WORKS

The Rehabilitation and remodeling of the entire structures of Kwara Hotels.

(3.0) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Interested and reputable Companies that have the capacity and interest to fund the project shall be considered in priority and such companies are requested to submit their expression of interest in the form of company profiles which shall include the following:

(i)  Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

(ii) Evidence of Company’s Income Tax Clearance for the last three (3) years (2020, 2021 and 2022).

(iii) Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2022.

(iv)  Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2022.

(v)  Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2022.

(vi) Evidence of Registration of Company with Kwara State Public Procurement Agency.

(vii)  Company Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years (2020,2021 and 2022).

(viii)  Evidence of financial capability by submission of reference letter from a reputable Commercial Bank in Nigeria.

(ix)  Company’s profile with Curriculum Vitae of key staff including their Academic and professional qualifications.

(x)   Verifiable documentary evidence of similar jobs executed in the past ten (10) years including Letters of Awards, Job Completion Certificates, etc.

(4.0) SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS

Prospective Bidders are expected to submit two (2) hard copies of their expression of Interest packaged in sealed envelopes and the envelopes should be addressed to:

The Honourable Commissioner,

Kwara State Ministry of Business, Innovation and Technology,

P.M.B. 1374, Ilorin.

And clearly marked with (the name of the project).

Furthermore, the sealed envelope should bear the name and address of the Company and dropped in the designated Tender Box located at: Honourable Commissioner’s Office, Kwara State Ministry of Business, Innovation and Technology, Ilorin.

Not later than 12pm of Wednesday 1 November, 2023 (Two weeks).

(5.0)  OPENING OF BIDS

The bid documents will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission at 12pm of Wednesday 1 November, 2023 in the conference room of the Ministry.

Please note that the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Technology will not be held liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted documents.

(6.0) GENERAL INFORMATION

(a) Bids must be in English Language and signed by an official authorized by the Company;

(b)  Bid submitted after the deadline for submission would be returned un-opened;

(c)  All costs will be borne by the Bidders;

(d)  Bidders can submit through Post (Courier Services)

(e)  Arrangement of technical documents in hard copies should follow the order in the list above and appropriately paged. The technical document should have a table of content indicating the pages, which these items are to be found.

(f)  The Kwara State Ministry of Business, Innovation and Technology, is not bound to accept any Bidder and reserves the right to annul the Procurement Process at any time without incurring liabilities in accordance with section 38 of the Kwara State Public Procurement Law No. 7 of 2018 as amended.
