REQUEST FOR BIDS GOODS
ADOLESCENT GIRLS’ INITIATIVE FOR LEARNING AND EMPOWERMENT (AGILE) PROJECT KATSINA IDA CREDIT NO. 67380 NG
(1) The Procurement of 3,828 NO. Desktop computers installed with required applications for digital literacy training to 170 No Senior Secondary Schools (21No. computers per school) NC-KATSINA STATE-385493-00-RFB.
(2) The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association towards the cause of Katsina State Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning and Empowerment Project (AGILE), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for the Procurement of Desktop Computers Installed with Required Applications for Digital Literacy Training to 170Nos. Senior Secondary Schools (21Nos. Computers per School).
(3) The Katsina State Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning and Empowerment Project (AGILE) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Procurement of the following:

(4) Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding using request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”) available on www.worldbank.org/procure and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
(5) Interested and eligible bidders may obtain further information from the State Project Coordinator, Katsina State AGILE Project and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below, between the hours of 9.00 am to 4.00pm Mondays to Fridays, except on public holidays.
(6) Qualifications requirements include:
(i) Evidence of previous verifiable supply (sale) of similar equipment for the past five (5) years,
(ii) Audited financial statements for the last three (3) years, to demonstrate the financial capability of the Bidder in terms of Profitability and adequate working capital.
(iii) Registration with Professional organizations/License to sell ICT/Computers in Nigeria.
(iv) Company Registration.
(v) Certified Manufacturers Authorization.
(i) Evidence of after-sales services in Nigeria
A margin of preference for eligible national contractors shall not apply; additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
(7) A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of N26,000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Naira only) or USD35.00 (Thirty Five Dollars only). The method of payment will be Cash or Bank Draft in favour of Katsina State AGILE Project. The Bidding Documents will be collected by the representative of the Bidder or by courier services on request which shall be at the bidder’s cost.
(8) Bids must be delivered to the address below at 12:00 noon local time on 17 January 2024. Electronic bid submission will not be accepted; Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend in person at the address below at 12:00 noon local time on 17 January 2024. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of at least 1% of bid price in local currency or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
