INVITATION TO TENDER
(1) Introduction
In its continuous effort to enhance socio-economic activities of the State through provision of quality infrastructure, Kano State Government intends to carry out Road Construction works under Contract for which this invitation for Pre-qualification/Tender is issued.
The Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KNUPDA), intends to prequalify Contractors for under mentioned Project:

(2) Bidding Requirement
All interested companies are requested to:
(a) Submit a comprehensive document containing the following particulars:
(i) Evidence of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
(ii) Evidence of TAX Clearance Certificate for the last three years.
(iii) Company Audited Account for three years.
(iv) Technical Qualification and experience of key personnel.
(v) Evidence of Financial Capability.
(vi) Evidence of similar projects executed in the State for the last three years.
(vii) Evidence of works Registration with Kano State Government.
(viii) Evidence of Registration with Ministry for Public Procurement, Monitoring & Evaluation.
(ix) Evidence of compliance with Section 6(1) – (3) of the ITF Amendment Act No. 19 of 2011 for the last one (1) year.
(x) Evidence of Registration with COREN, PENCOM, ITF and NSITF.
(xi) Evidence of Business premises license.
(3) Collection of Tender Documents
(i) Eligible Civil Engineering Companies may apply for the contract between 17 October – 27 October, 2023 and obtain Prequalification/ Tender documents from the Director Civil & Mechanical Engineering Department at a non-refundable fee of N350,000.00 (Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) only per LOT.
(ii) Submit all bids and other bidding documents in sealed envelope.
(iii) Submit a bid security in an amount not less than 3% of the bid price.
(iv) Bid security or any other bidding documents will not be accepted when the bidding process has commenced.

(4) Submission of the Prequalification Document
Submission of document must be received in sealed envelope which is to be either delivered by hand or registered mail, not later than Ten (10) days from the date of this advert (27 October, 2023). The document shall be forwarded in an envelope to the address below containing on the top right-hand corner of the envelope. This should be addressed to:

(5) Exception Clause
(i) It is worth noting that the process is not bound to consider only the lowest bidder, other factors may be reckoned.
(ii) Ensure that the bids should adequately cover the execution of the works without further demand Government.
