The Concept
- A key mandate of M-RITE is ensuring equity in the delivery of critical vaccines for eligible persons.
- Consequently, these groups have been identified and included in the workplan for prioritization for vaccination campaigns.
Rationale
- Prisoners are a neglected demographic group for various health interventions.
- M-RITE intends to vaccinate prisoners and those who work in the correctional system with life-saving vaccines.
- This is critical to this group due to the likelihood of spread of this vaccine because of the overcrowding common to most correctional facilities in the country.
Objective
- Sensitization and vaccination of prisoners and workers in the correctional system.
Quotation for the Provison Medical Consumables
- As a part of the preparation for this exercise, the STL, Staff and Mobile Team will be going round all the Prison and their environment in Bayelsa State for the COVID-19 Vaccination activity; thus, Medical Consumables vendors are expected to send in their quotes, for provision of services.

Delivery Location:
- The Medical Consumables shall be provided to JSI/M-RITE Staff in all the 8 LGAs in Bayelsa State.

Bidders are expected to submit properly signed financial bid/ quotation with company’s letter head paper.

Note
- The Financial bids must be in NGN
- Following the requirement of the Federal Government of Nigeria, John Snow Incoperated (JSI) will deduct 5% withholding tax from the total contractual sum. Also, note that JSI- is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and is VAT exempted.
- JSI reserves the right to reject any or all bids if it fails to meet the criteria or submitted after the stipulated closing date.
- Only successful bidder(s) shall be notified and will be asked to sign a Local Purchase Order (Contract document) with John Snow Incoperated. Note, this RFQ, does not in any way translate to a contract.
- Note that any submission made after the stipulated date will not be considered.
