INVITATION FOR TENDER
The Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH; “GIZ- BACKUP Health, financed by German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation (BMZ) and co-financed by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), would like to engage up to two consulting firms to assess healthcare workers training needs and lead the development of state specific plans.
GIZ is pleased to invite proposals from consulting firms: To assess the training requirements of healthcare workers that are already engaged by states (selected states in the northern and southern parts of Nigeria) and providing services in the Health Facilities (Hfs), a training needs assessment will be conducted for all healthcare workers of the selected HFs, specifically the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF) health facilities (1 per ward). The assessment will be conducted to pinpoint the healthcare workers skill proficiency, patterns, trends, identify the capacity gaps and prioritize areas for Healthcare Workers (HCWs) development based on which a costed training plan and recommendations for innovative approaches to bridge capacity and skills gaps will be developed. In collaboration with the state In-Service Training committee, they will be saddled with the responsibility of among other things developing the state plan. This plan shall be derived from the findings of the training needs assessment and the availability of trained mentors and trainers. This will be in two lots:
Lot 1 – Selected states in Northern Nigeria
Lot 2 – Selected states in Southern Nigeria
Interested consulting firms that are interested in bidding can collect the detailed bidding documents and complete terms of reference by sending a request email (clearly indicating relevant lot you are requesting documents for) to NG_Quotation@giz.de from 11 November 2023 to 17 November 2023. Request sent after 17 November 2023 won’t be accepted or taken into consideration.
All request email should title email subject as “Request for Tender Documents- Training Needs Assessment- 83452645 Lots 1 or Lot 2” and sent to the designated email address.
If you are interested and have collected bidding documents, the deadline for submitting a detailed proposal is on or before 24 November 2023.
