REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FROM REPUTABLE FACILITY SERVICE PROVIDERS AND VENDORS
Our client is a cultural centre established to promote the preservation of the heritage of the Yoruba through the celebration documentation, and preservation of their history and culture. The Centre is unique in many regards as it was built on a foundation of private philanthropy, public-private partnership, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to the preservation of the cultural heritage of arguably the most progressive ethnic group in Africa.
THE CENTRE
The Centre is designed as a multi-purpose complex housing a museum, performance theatres, a library, offices, multi-purpose rooms, gift shops, restaurants spaces, out-door sit-outs/terraces, an out-door amphitheatre and a standard swimming pool to mention a few.
As part of its commitment to international best practices in public procurement, the Trustees of the Centre recently appointed our firm to coordinate the process of selecting reputable service providers to manage the various facilities in the Centre either as facility managers or concessionaires to keep the Centre functioning at international standards.
FACILITY MANAGERS
We invite expression of interest from reputable facility managers in the following areas:

· Cleaning and Janitorial Services – ES 031
CONCESSIONAIRES
We are seeking to appoint interested vendors to lease and manage some of the specialized spaces in the complex as concessionaires under agreed terms. These spaces include:
Restaurants – ES 032
There are three spaces provided for restaurants. The restaurants will carter for three different categories of guests and tastes as follows:
(A) To exclusively prepare meals and serve guests with a wide variety of Yoruba native and contemporary cuisine.
(B) To exclusively prepare and serve continental meals and a variety of fast food that would appeal to younger guests.
(C) To operate as a high-end restaurant and private lounge to cater for very important personalities and host private dinning events.
Interested vendors must indicate which of these three different restaurants (A, B, or C) they are bidding for.
Gift Shop – ES 033
This is a specialized gift shop attached to the museum, where high quality items, cultural artefacts, and memorabilia, consistent with the profile of the museum, will be sold.
Swimming Pool – ES 034
Those interested in managing the swimming pool should be ready to provide lifeguards and manage other ancillary services associated with standard swimming pools, including a small shop where swim wears are sold.
FACILITY TOUR
A facility tour will be arranged for all shortlisted firms at a date to be advised before they submit their bids for the project.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Interested firms are to submit the following documents along with their Expression of Interest:
(i) Certificate of Incorporation.
(ii) A brief profile of the Company (not more than 4 pages) with details on the organizational structure, profile of the Board and core management team
(iii) Evidence of similar work handled (or managed) in the last five (5) years, with referral letters.
(iv) Audited Financial Statements for the last five years.
(v) A note on resources (manpower’ technical equipment, and facilities) to be deployed for the project.
