INVITATION TO TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ITAWURE _OKEMESI-IJERO ROAD
(1.0) INTRODUCTION
(1.1) Government of Ekiti State (EKSG) through the Ministry of Works is desirous of implementing one of its capital projects in the year 2024 Approved Budget which is fully funded by the State Government.
(1.2) Further to this and in compliance with the Ekiti State Public Procurement (Re-Enactment) Law No. 4 of 2020 wishes to invite interested registered, competent and reputed contractors to submit bids for Construction of Itawure-Okemesi-Ijero Road.
(2.0) SCOPE OF WORKS
(2.1) PROJECT: Construction of Itawure – Okemesi – Ijero Road.
(3.0) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
(3.1) Evidence of registration with Ekiti State Bureau of Public Procurement valid till Saturday, 31st December, 2024. Visit https://portal.bpp.ekitistate.gov.ng for requirements and online registration.
(3.2) Certificate of Authorization from the Bureau of Local Content
(4.0) COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Interested companies are to register on https://e-procurement.ekitistate.gov.ng to access relevant documents for this bid on the payment of non-refundable tender fees payable to Head 402 Sub- Head 101 of the Ministry of Works and Transportation as may be indicated on the notice board of the Ministry.
(5.0) SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Prospective bidders are to submit both technical and financial bids for the project via https://e-procurementekitistate.gov.ng not later than noon on Wednesday 3 April, 2024.
(6.0) OPENING OF BIDS
The bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission by noon on Wednesday 3 April 2024. Only participating bidders shall be provided a link to the Virtual Bid Opening Session. (7.1) GENERAL INFORMATION
(7.1) Bids must be in English Language and signed off by an official authorised by the bidder;
(7.2) Women-owned and Women-led Businesses are not exempted to apply as part of EKSG’s commitment to create a diverse and inclusive portfolio of vendors.
(7.3) Prospective bidders are invited to note that in line with the affirmative policy of the Government of Ekiti State, qualified Women-owned and Women-led vendors shall be strongly considered.
(7.4) All costs will be borne by the bidders;
(7.5) The Ministry of Works is not bound to invite any bidder and reserves the right to annul the Procurement process at any time without incurring any liabilities in accordance with Section 28 of the Ekiti State Public Procurement (Re-enactment) Law No.4 of 2020.
