INVITATION TO BID FOR THE SUPPLY OF NOILIER BIRDS AND GROWER MASH POULTRY FEEDS
ABOUT THRIVE
The Transitioning Households to Recovery from Vulnerability (THRIVE) in Jere project is a two-year multi-sectoral, emergency and recovery project funded by BHA/USAID, starting its second year in June 2023. CRS with Mercy Corps (MC), Women in the New Nigeria (WINN), Salient Humanitarian Organization (SHO) and Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC) provides assistance to support early recovery in targeted areas to advance participants from lifesaving assistance to life-building support. THRIVE shall support the transitioning of households from lifesaving food assistance to life-building agricultural production and economic recovery activities.
Purpose of bid:
THRIVE is seeking registered poultry and poultry feed firms to provide 7,500 five-week-old Noiler Poultry and grower mash Poultry feeds to 750 targeted project participants in Jere LGA between November 2023 and January 2024 as shall be mutually agreed upon. The poultry and feeds shall be provided through an e- voucher system in which participants shall redeem the inputs from the selected vendor and THRIVE shall reimburse the vendors the value of redeemed inputs.
Required Items:
(1) Provide 7,500 healthy locally raised Noiler Poultry (750 males and 6, 7750 females); At least five weeks old and fully vaccinated as at the age.
(a) Provide evidence of vaccination status before supply. The poultry should have been vaccinated against NCD and Gumboro and should have received three doses of anticoccidial medication.
(2) Supply 750 bags of poultry grower feeds, in 25kgs packages.
Condition
Any mortality recorded within 2 weeks after disbursement will be replaced by the supplier.

Interested bidders are requested to submit their bids to tenders.ngr@crs.org latest by Wednesday, 22 November, 2023 by 5pm, subject for the email for submission should be RFQNG13168 – Noiler Birds. If you have any inquiry, please write to nigeriaprocurement@crs.org all inquiries will be attended to between 10th to 13th November 2023. The submitted pack of documents should consist of the following documents:
(1) Company profile. (5 points)
(2) Certificate of incorporation as a company/ business name (CAC registration) (15 points)
(3) Tax Identification Number (TIN) (10 points)
(4) Experience of present and/ or past similar experience with NGOs or private sector actors in providing poultry and or poultry feeds to project participants. (15 points, 1-5 years, 8 points & over 5 years of experience is 15 points).
(5) Acceptance to provide the inputs through an e-voucher system is preferred. (Yes/No 15 points)
(6) Financial offer, demonstrating your proposed cost to provide the Poultry and poultry growers feed per unit cost as per the table below. (15 points)
