PROVISION OF SOLAR POWERED BOREHOLES FOR COMMUNITIES RECEIVING INTERVENTION UNDER BENUE STATE ACReSAL PROJECT

(1) The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Benue State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes Project (BNACReSAL), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for the SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF SOLAR POWERED BOREHOLES FOR COMMUNITIES RECEIVING INTERVENTION UNDER BENUE ACReSAL PROJECT.
(2) The Benue State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes Project (BNACReSAL) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Procurement of the following:

Qualifications requirements include:
(i) Provide evidence of firm’s corporate registration in Nigeria or overseas.
(ii) Valid Tax clearance certificate for foe last three years.
(iii) Company profile and technical qualification of Key Personnel with registration with relevant professional bodies.
(iv) Evidence of two (2) previous similar projects executed within the last 5 years.
(v) Audited Financial Statements for the last 3 years (i.e. 2020, 2021 and 2022).
(vi) Provide minimum average annual turnover in the last three (3) years of at least NGN300Million.
(vii) Verifiable evidence of financial capability and bank support from a reputable bank.
(viii) Court sworn affidavit:
· That all information is true and correct.
· That none of the Company Directors had been convicted of any crime relating to fraud.
(ix) A margin of preference for eligible national contractors shall not be applied.
(3) Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers September 2023 fifth Edition (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
(4) Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at the address below from 10:00am to 4:00pm Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays.
(5) The bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a .written application to tire address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Seventy Thousand Naira (N70,000.00) per Lot. The method of payment will be by Bank draft in favor- of Benue State – Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes Project or pay directly into this bank account; BENUE State ACReSAL Account, Polaris Bank, Account Number: 4060015438 and present the payment evidence to the address below.
(6) Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 11.30 am on Wednesday, 30 November, 2023. Electronic Bids submission will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened at 11.30 am local time on Thursday, 30 November, 2023 at the address below in the presence of Bidders representatives who choose to attend.
(7) All bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Security of NGN5 Million from a reputable bank.
(8) Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on foe successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.”
