CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: BOREHOLE DRILLING IN ABA-AJEBAMIDELE WEST COMMUNITY IN EKITI WEST LOCAL GOVERNMENT
ActionAid Nigeria (AAN) and Environmental Development and Family Health Organization (EDFHO) invites interested and qualified drilling companies to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) for a Borehole Drilling Contract (the geophysical survey completed and available for inspection). This contract aims to provide a sustainable water source in Aba-Ajebamidele West, Aramoko-Ekiti, Ekiti West Local government and contribute to their long-term water security.
Key Details:
(1) Scope of Work: The selected drilling company will be responsible for drilling, construction, and installation of 1 borehole in the community. The scope includes site preparation, drilling, casing, development, pump testing, construction of two stanchions overhead tanks with 6000 litres each and installation of appropriate pumping equipment and reticulation of the water system to the community from a distance of about one kilometer.
The company will also give reports at each stage of the process.
(1) Technical Requirements: Bidders should demonstrate their expertise and capacity to have undertaken similar projects. This includes possessing the necessary drilling equipment, experienced personnel, and evidence of track record in delivering successful borehole projects.
(1) Compliance: All drilling activities must adhere to applicable local regulations, environmental guidelines and safety standards. Bidders should possess the required licenses and certifications.
(1) Evaluation Criteria: Bids will be evaluated based on technical capabilities, relevant experience, financial stability and proposed timeline. Only shortlisted bidders will be contacted for further discussions or site visits.
(1) Contract Duration: The contract will be awarded for a fixed-term period. Details regarding contract duration, payment terms, and milestones will be provided to shortlisted bidders.
(1) Instructions for Submission: Interested companies are requested to submit their Expression of Interest and added documentation detailing necessary company registration, licenses, experience and expertise. The EOI should include the following information.
(2) Company Profile: Provide a brief overview of your company, including its background, core competencies, and key projects completed in the borehole drilling sector.
(3) Technical Capacity: Outline your drilling equipment, tools, and resources available for the project. Highlight relevant certifications, licenses, and any quality assurance processes implemented.
(4) Experience: Describe your company’s experience in executing similar projects, emphasizing the number of boreholes drilled, locations, and outcomes achieved. Include pictures or references from previous clients, if available.
(5) Team: Introduce the key personnel who will be involved in the project, including their qualifications and relevant experience.
(6) Financial Stability: Provide an overview of your company’s financial standing, demonstrating your ability to fulfill the contractual obligations and tax certificates.
