The Concept

• A key mandate of M-RITE is ensuring equity in the delivery of critical vaccines for eligible persons.
• Consequently, these groups have been identified and included in the workplan for prioritization for vaccination campaigns.

Rationale

• Prisoners are a neglected demographic group for various health interventions.
• M-RITE intends to vaccinate prisoners and those who work in the correctional system with life-saving vaccines.
• This is critical to this group due to the likelihood of spread of this vaccine because of the overcrowding common to most correctional facilities in the country.

Objective

• Sensitization and vaccination of prisoners and workers in the correctional system.

Quotation for the Provison of Car Hire

• As a part of the preparation for this exercise, the STL, Staff and Mobile Team will be going round all the Prison and their environment in Bayelsa State for the COVID-19 Vaccination activity; thus, Car Hire vendors are expected to send in their quotes, for provision of services.

Find below a description of the service we shall be requiring:

Delivery Location:

• The car hire services shall be provided to JSI/M-RITE Staff in all the 8 LGAs in Bayelsa State.

Requirements / Evaluation Criteria
Bidders are expected to submit a properly signed financial bid / quotation with company’s letter head paper.

Method of Application
Interested and qualified Vendors should submit their properly signed Financial Bid / Quotation with company’s letter head paper  to: jsi_integratedproject_procurement@ng.jsi.com using “Provision of Car Hire Services for Activity” as the subject of the mail.

Note

• The Financial bids must be in NGN
• Following the requirement of the Federal Government of Nigeria, John Snow Incoperated (JSI) will deduct 5% withholding tax from the total contractual sum. Also, note that JSI- is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and is VAT exempted.
• JSI reserves the right to reject any or all bids if it fails to meet the criteria or submitted after the stipulated closing date.
• Only successful bidder(s) shall be notified and will be asked to sign a Local Purchase Order (Contract document) with John Snow Incoperated. Note, this RFQ, does not in any way translate to a contract.
• Note that any submission made after the stipulated date will not be considered.
